Your Bathroom and your personality

Your bathroom is the place where you take care of yourself physically and, many times, psychologically. It is a place for relaxing, cleaning, and get the look you want to be perceived by other people every day.
Aiming to have the necessary conditions for all of the above, one first piece of advice is avoiding plain white in floors, walls, ceilings, and accessories. This color can be dull and more difficult to clean. Other colors are more expressive and you are entitled to choose your favorite ones. After all, the bathroom is a private space and is yours under all terms.
The finishes on the floor and walls are the base for the color schemes. After defining them and the colors that match, light is the next step. This way you are building the atmosphere of the bathroom, which can be for making you look very well (with strong white lights for you to see yourself in detail) or calmer if your aim is to have a relaxing place. This leads us to the mirrors, which not only are crucial for shaving, combing your hair, etc, but for décor. You can have several mirrors, from small ones for shaving to very big ones to make the bathroom look bigger (for which you will have to take into account the layers between the wall and the mirror, as a big one can be a problem if humidity accumulates behind or if the wall must be broken to reach the plumbing system). There are even mirrors with plastic and aluminum, that reduce fogging.
Accessories such as faucets, doorknobs, towel holders, and soap dishes must be carefully chosen. The faucets must be durable and resist the strength of your hands. There are many cheap ones in the market that start leaking after a few months. Doorknobs must be made of materials that do not get rusty and soap dishes are always a sample of bad or good taste and practicality. They must be easy to reach and made in such a way that water does not accumulate in them, and soap does not fall easily, Many accidents in the shower occur when the person has soap on their eyes, tries to get the soap from the dish or pick it up from the floor.
The electric ítems, such as hair dryers, remind us about the safety considerations for installing sockets and switches. One has to put them near the mirror, preferably next to the sink, and have some more distributed all over the bathroom, but at least one yard away from the shower or the bathtub.
Finally, towels are a symbol of the relaxing effect of bathing. They must look very clean, be very soft, smell great and match the rest of the bathroom in terms of colors. After feeling the caress of water, the sensation of a soft towel is the right complement to cuddle yourself.
