The Sink, A Matter of Practicality

We use the sink every day. Washing our hands or our teeth, cleaning something we just have used… no matter what we use them for, the sink is one of those elements a bathroom is not such without.
Designing a sink is something really grateful for the talents devoted to doing it. From classical porcelain sinks, others with psychedelic designs, colorful curvy shapes or straight-lined with right angles to those that make a homage to creeks by emulating the irregular shapes of nature, sinks are usually more used than any other of the bathroom´s elements and are one of the most beautifully made.
Of course, a sink´s design includes the faucets, which must match the colors and materials used for the rest of it, and be resistant, practical, and always look clean (by the way, one of the paradoxical things in life is a dirty bathroom, as it is a place for cleaning). If it lacks any of the aforementioned characteristics, it will be an example of bad taste for sure.
But your bathroom can’t just have a sink. A mirror, or even better a vanity, is in order. For applying make-up or for shaving, a sink along a mirror or a vanity becomes a workstation for self-care. The mirror or the vanity, of course, must match the rest of the bathroom and have the adequate provision of light to make you look like you really are looking when performing your cleaning and self-care routines. Therefore, choosing the right ítems is a matter of good thinking and the right criterion.
You know how you want your bathroom to be, and, of course, you have your own practical considerations concerning the sink for your bathroom. Therefore, let’s talk about it and get what you really need and want. After all, that´s a part of our expertise at Surface Designers.
